This term I am foucsing on cameras for my big idea and my first thing I am doing is a 3D model of a old camera and a new camera
Secondly, I am doing a cube full of infomation
Thirdly, I am doing a map and going to dot every major camera was made!!!

Mind,Body and Soul

Hello there,
In the last 14 weeks the 5/6’s students have been learning about the mind, body and the soul. We did 5 rotations for each mind, body and soul and I learn’t over the body rotations was all about the brain and all different parts of the brain. On the mind rotations i learn’t how meditation relaxs your mind and why people do meditation as a hobbie. I also learn’t over the soul rotations that music and other things can feed peoples soul. My favorite rotations was soul because it just something that i liked about it that I can’t describe.

For the rest of the term I am going to be using my interest of surfing to link in with our topic of Mind, Body and Soul and complete 2 tasks that I negotiated with a teacher.
Negotiated task 1: I am emailing a questionaire identifying the reason why people love to surf and the questions will link to Mind, Body and Soul.
Negotiated task 2:I am also going to do a poster of how the surfboards have chaged since they frist made them.
To get these tasks completed I need to: I need to find all the peoples emails so I can email them my Qustions. For task 2 i need to have a poster and all the info about the surfboards from that year and get ready to stick on.

I have done so far
In my first Negotiated tasks I have done a poster witch has questions about surfing linking to Mind,Body and Soul that I have emailed to a Couple of surfers.One of the questions are what got you into surfing.I have finish the poster and decorated it and i have added a graph on What dose surfing make you feel.On my 2nd task I am close to finishing how surfboards have changed over the years but I need to stick it on to the poster and decorate it so it looks good. This is all I have done and I have 1 week to finish so I think im going well.

I have to find surfboards from 1800s to 2000s and i had to type a summary of the surfboards.

This project has made me wonder and think, I am wondering how other people have done and if I have to do more and neater then what I have done.I am hopeing that it turns out to be a standard year 5 project that I will be proud of. I will investigate further if I have time to do that. I think I will finish it in time for the Expo.
